Federal mandate now requires that ALL trailers having an overall width of more than 80 inches and a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 10,000 pounds be equipped on the sides and rear with some means for increasing their conspicuity.
With a brightness of 700-1000 candle power intensity, our alternating 11" red and 7" white Conspicuity Tape meets the ASTM D-4956-90 Type V sheeting requirements to comply with this new mandate.
Available in 2" width with the option of 10, 25 or 50 yard rolls, this pressure-sensitive tape resists dirt and grime, as well as common solvents. Also available is our Conspicuity Trailer Marking Kit that comes complete with 5 pressure-sensitive strips each measuring 2" x 18". Kits are sold 10 per case.

SCHOOL BUS CONSPICUITY TAPE
National Standards for School Transportation recommends that all school buses be equipped with some means of increasing their conspicuity. With a brightness of 700-1000 candle power intensity, our School Bus yellow Conspicuity Tape meets the requirements of Fmvss 5711131 and FmvSS217 to comply with these recommendations.
Available in 1" and 2" widths in 50 yard rolls, this pressure-sensitive tape resists dirt and grime, as well as common solvents. Also available is the Emergency Door Kit in a 1" x 30 yard roll and the 9-1/4" x 42" School Bus Sign.
Two styles to choose from: Metalized Retroreflective Block Pattern features brighter reflectivity, while the Hi-Performance Reflective Honeycomb Pattern features a brighter color.
